Duncan juggling rings are a good basic ring, with a compact, solid feel. Once you can juggle three balls, learning three rings is a fun next step, and makes many new tricks possible. Absolute Outdoor juggling rings are identical to the very popular regular Absolute rings except for being 67% thicker (and 67% heavier). This gives Oudoor rings added stability in a light breeze. The extra inertia also helps when learning tricks like pancake throws.

Mister Babache Reverso rings alternate white with a different color on the reverse side, for performing a color change (turning each ring around while juggling, so that the rings look like they have changed color). Underneath the white paint on one side, each ring is a standard Mister Babache ring in a different solid color, with the same smooth edges and consistent feel as regular Babache rings. Two-sided rings also provide a flashy strobe effect during pancake flips (butterflies), and allow versatility when you need to contrast against various background colors when performing.
